Matured in a single refill barrel, cask DL18143, this Highland whisky was bottled at 48.4% without colouring or chill filtration, with 285 bottles produced.

Founded in 1798 and located in Pitlochry, Perthshire, Blair Athol is one of Scotland's oldest working distilleries. Its rich, malty spirit is an important component of Bell's blended Scotch whisky, although independent single cask releases offer an opportunity to explore the distillery's individual character.

Douglas Laing's tasting notes from the label suggest a nose carrying bourbon cask influences alongside rich Highland malt, followed by a slightly peppery palate with toffee and muscovado sugar. The finish develops clove-studded orange zest, followed by an American sweet flavour.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone!
