As with other Provenance releases, it was bottled without chill filtration or added colouring.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's Provenance range focuses on single-cask and small-batch bottlings from distilleries across Scotland, generally bottled at 46% ABV and presented without alteration to the whisky's natural colour or character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBen Nevis is one of the relatively few Scottish distilleries to retain traditional wooden washbacks alongside a notably long fermentation regime. These production choices contribute to the weighty, characterful new-make spirit for which the distillery is known, making it particularly well suited to independent bottlings where the underlying distillery character remains prominent.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's Tasting Notes: Creamy and buttery on the nose, developing attractive spice and toasted oak.
