The release was limited to just 355 bottles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's Provenance range showcases single cask and small batch whiskies from distilleries across Scotland, bottled with an emphasis on preserving the individual character of the spirit and cask.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's tasting notes describe milk chocolate, pistachio nuts and fresh lime skin shavings on the nose, followed by sweet malt, gentle dried ginger and honeycomb on the palate. The finish is long with icing sugar, cream cakes and sweet baked brioche.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBalmenach is one of the less commonly encountered Speyside single malts, with much of the distillery's production traditionally destined for blended Scotch whisky.
