Distilled around 1966 or 1967, this exceptionally well-aged Balblair was released in the distillery's older presentation, featuring the traditional black and gold label.

Founded in 1790, Balblair Distillery is located in Edderton, near the Dornoch Firth in the Northern Highlands of Scotland. One of Scotland's oldest working distilleries, Balblair is known for producing a fruity, elegant style of single malt whisky, with extended maturation allowing its character to develop further complexity and depth.

This 33-year-old release dates from a period before Balblair introduced its vintage-dated range in 2007, making it an interesting example of the distillery's earlier official bottlings. Presented in a wooden case with a matching miniature bottle and branded tasting glass, it is a particularly attractive release for collectors of older Highland single malts.

Official Tasting Notes:

Colour: Golden Honey

Nose: Sweet toffee with a hint of vanilla and a slight fruity character

Taste: Satisfyingly smooth with a rich full flavour and a slightly dry note to finish

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0442/9293/1743/files/925688Balblair33YearOldBottled2000-2.jpg?v=1793710470
