It was bottled without chill filtration or added colouring.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's Provenance range showcases single cask and small batch whiskies from distilleries across Scotland, typically bottled with a focus on natural presentation and the individual character of the spirit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAuchentoshan is unusual among Scottish malt distilleries for its use of triple distillation across its entire production. The spirit passes through three copper pot stills rather than the more common two, producing a higher-strength new make spirit and contributing to the lighter style traditionally associated with the distillery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's tasting notes describe a warm, nutty nose developing towards caramel, spice and brown sugar.
