Matured in a single refill barrel, cask DL17384, this Lowland whisky was bottled at natural cask strength of 59% without colouring or chill filtration, with just 203 bottles produced.

Founded in 1823, Auchentoshan is situated near Glasgow and is one of the few Scottish distilleries to practise triple distillation. This process produces a lighter, more delicate spirit, often characterised by fresh citrus, cereal sweetness and grassy notes. Single cask bottlings offer an opportunity to explore the distillery's character at higher strength.

Douglas Laing's tasting notes from the label suggest creamy barley, hard candy, vanilla and freshly cut grass.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone!
