The distillery’s relatively light spirit works particularly well at younger ages, retaining plenty of its trademark orchard fruit, citrus and sweet malt character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDistilled in 2015 and matured for eight years, this single cask was bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration. Just 325 hand-filled ceramic decanters were produced.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing’s Premier Barrel series is immediately recognisable for its old-fashioned ceramic decanters, with each release drawn from a single cask and produced in relatively small quantities.
