The cask produced a limited release of 332 bottles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's Provenance range showcases single-cask and small-batch whiskies from distilleries across Scotland, bottled with an emphasis on the individual character of the spirit and cask. This release formed part of the Coastal Collection, highlighting whiskies from Scotland's island and coastal distilleries.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDouglas Laing's tasting notes describe sweet, sugary pear drops, crème brûlée, orange peel and barley on the nose, followed by toffee apples, caramelised sugar, fruit gums and rock salt on the palate. The finish brings strawberry jam on buttered toast, toasted oak and gingerbread cake.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eArran Distillery at Lochranza began production in 1995, making it one of Scotland's younger established single malt distilleries.
