Matured in a single refill barrel, cask DL17453, this Highland whisky was bottled at natural cask strength of 52% without colouring or chill filtration, with just 216 bottles produced. This particular release was bottled exclusively for K&L Wines.

Founded in 1898, Ardmore Distillery is situated near Kennethmont in Aberdeenshire and is known for producing a traditionally peated Highland malt. Unlike many Highland distilleries, Ardmore has maintained its use of peated malt, giving its whisky a distinctive smoky character that combines well with the distillery's fruity and malty spirit.

Douglas Laing's tasting notes from the label suggest an earthy, sweet peat aroma accompanied by fresh orchard fruits and red berries. The palate opens with more orchard fruit before developing into a moreish combination of strawberry jam on toast, while the finish brings well-integrated peat, lingering sweetness and rich, malty cereal notes.

Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0442/9293/1743/files/14421Ardmore2009-2024_14YearOldDouglasLaingOldParticularSingleCaskDL17453.jpg?v=1793358167
https://www.whisky-online.com/products/ardmore-2009-2024-14-year-old-douglas-laing-old-particular-single-cask-dl17453
