Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46%
Airigh Nam Beist (pronounced `arry-nam-bayst`), which in Gaelic means `shelter of the beast
Matured in ex-bourbon casks, a run of three consecutive 1990 vintages that Ardbeg released are widely considered to be the distillery's last gasp of greatness before aged stocks were all but dried up.
This is the 2008 18-year-old edition and it is a spectacular whisky. The epitome of that unique early 1990s Ardbeg style.
