Croftengea is one of a number of whiskies produced at the Loch Lomond Distillery. Loch Lomond was founded in 1966. Over the years it has changed hands and expanded, around 11 distillates are now produced at the distillery with Croftengea being one of these and a peated single malt predominantly used in blends. In 2004 Croftengea was used as a brand in its own right as part of the Loch Lomond range, but in 2014 Loch Lomond Distillery was bought by its current owner and they don't see a future for the brand.
