Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled By: Signatory Vintage
70cl / 45.4%
Signatory Vintage has to be up there with the best of the independent bottlers in the industry and to celebrate the 30th Anniversary they have released a collection of exceptional bottlings from many sought after distilleries...
... Established in 1998 by Andrew Symington, Signatory Vintage is now regarded as one of the most dynamic, flexible and innovative bottlers in the industry. Signatory bottle whiskies across a number of ranges such as Cask Strength and Un-Chill Filtered collections.
This Craigduff was distilled at Glen Keith distillery in 1973 and aged for 45 years in refill sherry butt #2518 before being bottled in 2018 with a yield of 575 bottles.
The bottle is presented in a black lacker box with 2 Signatory Vintage branded Glencairn glasses.
Supposedly produced at the Glen Keith distillery in the early 70's Craigduff was the result of an experiment to produce a peaty Speyside whisky for Chivas Brothers. There is some dispute as to where the whisky was actually distilled as Signatory claim is Glen Keith through their own research and Chivas deny this and say is is from Strathisla. Wherever it is from its a damn fine dram.
