Coronavirus update 24 March 2020
Business Closed Until Further Notice
As previously stated Whisky-Online has been closely monitoring the updates around Covid-19 and will be taking the advice from our government seriously. Therefore it is with our deepest regret we will be closing our business until further notice and our March auction will be postponed. Our team will be self-isolating at home and we strongly encourage you to do so as well. Beating this virus is going to be a team effort and everyone needs to play their part. The quicker people listen to the advice the quicker things will get back to normal. Please take the time to read the official advice below;
Stay at home to stop coronavirus spreading
Everyone must stay at home to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
This includes people of all ages – even if you do not have any symptoms or other health conditions.
You can only leave your home:
- to shop for basic essentials – only when you really need to
- to do one form of exercise a day – such as a run, walk or cycle, alone or with other people you live with
- for any medical need – for example, to visit a pharmacy or deliver essential supplies to a vulnerable person
- to travel to and from work – but only where this is absolutely necessary
Miniature auction orders and future auctions
A number of parcels were shipped out yesterday for those who took part in our miniature auction. But unfortunately, those that didn't will be shipped on our return. At this time we don't know when this will be.
Our main March auction is regrettably postponed until further notice. This decision has been made with everyone's best interest in mind. For further updates please subscribe to our mailing list
