This Cooper's Choice 2006 Girvan 16-year-old started life in American oak before being finished in what was clearly a rather generous Oloroso sherry cask, judging by the colour. A limited edition of 600 bottles at a hefty strength of 57.5%.

There are a lot of better and cheaper sherried single malts. This one is decent, but too young and I think this is overpriced. I wouldn't buy another bottle of this young single malt at this price level.
