This Mosstowie was distilled in 1973 and aged for 45 years in refill sherry butt #7622 before being bottled in 2018 with a yield of 410 bottles.
This energetic bottling with its vibrant youthful spirit enthusiastically proves that time has no hold over it. At every key moment in the tasting, it finds new energy so that we are kept permanently on tenterhooks.
It shows lots of rigour, precision, and conviction in the development of its flavour, aroma moving from a fresh mineral character to medicinal and sweet notes - Stunning!

Nose: Complex, with lemon, herbs, grape and pear turning spicy and medicinal.
Palate: Starts aromatic and becomes sweeter with toffee and a long powerful malt finish.
