This Dram Mor 2013 Craigellachie 8-year-old came from a single first fill bourbon barrel Cask 300594 and was bottled without colouring or chill filtration at its potent natural cask strength of 56.8%, yielding an impressive 294 bottles. A good value, young no-nonsense cask strength Speysider with excellent pedigree.

Official Tasting Notes
Colour: Dried Yellow Sultana Nose: Sweet vanilla and delicate mallow gently waft from the glass followed by soft cereal and a hint of honey.
Palate: Quite rooty to start with hints of gentian, liquorice and leather followed by a distinct syrupy spice that blends effortlessly with the more complex liquorice.
Finish: Sharp and spiritous with just a hint of tannin, rich with minerals and a hint of ozone.
