New on our shop we have the Autumn 2020 releases from Alistair Walkers Infrequent Flyers series.
Release number 25 is from one of our favourite Highland Distilleries, Blair Athol. This whisky was distilled in 2006 and aged in a Sauternes cask #6132 until it was bottled 14 years later at a natural cask strength of 50.6% with a yield of just 281 bottles.
This is a super fruity dram indeed, it is one that will have you wanting more.

Tasting Notes
Alistair's Tasting Notes
Colour: Burnt amber.
Nose: Waves of apricot. Caramel, over-ripe plums and figs.
Taste: Seriously intense - a very concentrated extravaganza of orchard fruits. Honeyed apricots, lightly toasted apple-and-raisin strudel, dusted with cinnamon. Muscovado sugar, allspice and marmalade.
Finish: Rich, fruity and super sweet.
