A bottle of the De Luxe blended Scotch whisky President Special Reserve. Back in the day, De Luxe was a non-specific whisky term used to imply premium quality, generally a higher malt content.
President Special Reserve blended Scotch was a brand produced by Macdonald Greenlees, a subsidiary firm of the industry-dominating Distillers Company Limited (DCL). Macdonald Greenlees held the license to Glendullan distillery, but this President blend will doubtless include several different DCL single malts in its makeup.
A fine dram, still with plenty of bite at 43%.
