Lowland Single Grain Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Signatory Vintage 70cl / 57.3%
This summer 2021 batch from Signatory is one of the strongest lineups we've seen for a long time. Here's one for the grain fans - a hogshead of 24-year-old Port Dundas 1996 bottled by Signatory for their Cask Strength Collection at a natural cask strength of 57.3%.
Port Dundas was closed by Diageo in 2010 after two centuries of supplying high quality Lowland single grain scotch for their owners' many blends. There still seems to be a fair amount of stock out there in the wild, though, so hopefully grain aficionados will still be able to enjoy well-priced old beauties like this one for a few more years yet.
