Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 40%
A lovely old bottle of Macallan 10-year-old bottled back in the 1990s when all Macallans were 100% sherry matured and the Macallan 10-year-old was the acknowledged gold standard for entry-level official bottlings.
This 1990s Macallan 10-year-old has one of the classic labels from before the packaging was tweaked, so we reckon it's safe to say that it would have been bottled in the early to mid-1990s. These old school 1990s Macallan bottlings are a wonderful throwback to a simpler time - the golden age for whisky drinkers of a certain age - and of course the whisky still stands up as an absolute classic of the rich sherry-matured Speyside style.

Lightweight, thin on flavour and not much in the way of a finish. Certainly not worth paying the “Distillers Reserve” premium over their standard single malt.
Have not opened it yet - being chased for a review
This shop has been chasing me for a review about this product several times now but I still haven’t opened it yet. I cannot say anything about it. Not everyone buys a whisky and opens it within a few weeks of arrival. Make of this what you want.
