The release comprises 14 first-fill barrels, matured on the upper level of the distillery's dunnage warehouse before being bottled at 46% ABV.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe barley used was the Concerto variety, grown in the South Fields of the Cuthbert family's farm and harvested on 2nd and 3rd September 2011. It was dried and stored on the farm before being malted in Alloa during spring 2012.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDaftmill is a family-owned farm distillery in Fife, operating around the agricultural calendar and distilling principally during the farm's quieter mid-summer and winter periods.
