A 10-year-old Ardmore 2008 bottled at 46% in 2019 by Mossburn Distillers for their Vintage Casks series. As is customary for Mossburn, this Ardmore 2008 has been bottled without colouring or chill filtration to allow its true natural character to shine.
This 2008 Ardmore 10-year-old was bottled from an ex-bourbon American Standard Barrel that previously saw action on Islay, almost certainly at Ardmore's sister distillery Laphroaig, so there should be even more deliciously smoky phenols than one would normally expect from Ardmore. This will be terrific stuff for anyone looking for a great value smoky whisky.
