Johnnie Walker Blue Label has been the daddy of prestige blended Scotch whisky ever since it first appeared (as Johnnie Walker Oldest) at the tail end of the 1980s.
The constituent malts and grains of Johnnie Walker Blue Label may have changed in the intervening decades - it's reasonable to assume there's no Port Ellen included nowadays - but the keystone malts Cardhu, Clynelish, Benrinnes and Caol Ila ensure that the balance of smooth, honeyed sweetness and peppery complexity remain.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a landmark in blended whisky history, a status symbol in global culture and a byword for prestige Scotch whisky.

There are a lot of better and cheaper sherried single malts. This one is decent, but too young and I think this is overpriced. I wouldn't buy another bottle of this young single malt at this price level.
