An 11-year-old Glenrothes from Gordon & MacPhail bottled for the new Discovery Range. We were so impressed when trying the whiskies from this range that we could not believe the RRP.
Nestled nicely in the sherried section of G & M's Discovery Range this Glenrothes shows what sherry cask maturation is all about.
The whole range gives whisky lovers a tour of various flavour profiles and characters and showcases what Gordon & MacPhail are good at.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich toffee aromas mingle with stewed fruits, whilst the sherry influences mix with forest fruits, delicate cinnamon and chocolate.
Palate: Raspberry and blackberries are complemented by cinnamon and charred oak.
Finish: Creamy milk chocolate and orange.
