Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Signatory Vintage 70cl / 48.9%
A pair of sister bourbon barrels of the little-seen Glentauchers Speyside single malt of the 1997 vintage, rescued from a big vat with Ballantine's written on it by Signatory, who've had the good sense to bottle them at 22 years old at a natural strength of 48.9%.
Bourbon barrels, you'll recall, are smaller than standard hogsheads, which explains why there was only 377 bottles between the two of them.
