Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 51.5%
A 20-year-old 1999 vintage Tamdhu whisky with a difference. We love a point of difference, and that is another reason why we love indie bottlers so much.
Instead of the usual sherry influence that you tend to get with distillery bottlings of Tamdhu, this bottling from Douglas Laing has been matured in a single virgin oak hogshead.
This Tamdhu was distilled in August 1999 and matured in a single virgin oak hogshead DL13785 for 2 decades before being bottled by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular Series in December 2019.
It was bottled unchill-filtered at an abv of 51.5% with a yield of just 265 bottles.
