Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled By: Douglas Laing 70cl / 46%
A 12-year-old Tamdhu (no vintage stated) bottled at 46% by Douglas Laing for their range of Premier Barrel single casks presented in eye-catching ceramic flasks with teeth-grinding tongue-twistery tasting notes.
The Premier Barrel series has been going for a long time, principally for export and some Scottish tourist spots, but it's good to see these inexpensive good young everyday drinking 46% single malts available more widely on UK shelves now.

Tasting Notes
Tarry not over this talismanic Tamdhu! No ruse - it is rightly regarded as reliably riveting, really rockingly rich and refreshing with a mellifluously mollifying mystique of malt. Beyond which, absorb its abiding attributes of assertive autumnal fecund fruit; furthermore its gratifyingly galvanising gamut of grist and its homily to homespun harmonious honey.
