Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 48.4%
Glenrothes is one of Scotland's blue chip Speyside distilleries, but it's strongly associated with big sherry casks so it's nice to see a refill hogshead for a change.
The refill hogshead in question is this 2007 single cask Glenrothes selected by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular series and bottled as a 14-year-old without colouring or chill filtration at the company's standard 48.4%. This should be tremendous stuff.
