This Deanston 2009 12-year-old came from Cask DL16329, a single refill hogshead cask that gave up 275 bottles at the Old Particular standard strength of 48.4%. This will be a treat for fans of easy-drinking 'natural' Highland malts.

Nose: Big and robust, carrying fresh bread (toasted) plus beer and grist.
Palate: Shows a sugary vanilla toffee style, with burnt and spicy citrus peel.
Finish: Long with burnt, buttered malt loaf, maple syrup and cereals.
