Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 46%
An 8-year-old Ben Nevis 2014 bottled without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing for the autumn outturn of their Provenance series.
This 2014 Ben Nevis 8-year-old came from Cask DL16321, a single refill hogshead that yielded 450 bottles at the standard Provenance strength of 46%. Ben Nevis's excellent spirit shows plenty of character even at relatively young ages like this, and the distillery's recent popularity suggests this won't be around too long.

Tasting Notes
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Creamy and buttery as it opens, warming to attractive spices and breakfast cereal.
Palate: Velvety and rich with barley obvious amongst a dark fruit and gingery spice backdrop.
Finish: Now rather toffee’d, with vanilla, honey and sugar evident around the spices.
