A welcome outing for the sadly under-rated Highlander Blair Athol, whose Flora & Fauna edition has long been one of the standouts of that series.
Darkness have taken a 14-year-old Blair Athol whisky and gussied it up in an Oloroso sherry cask for its final months of maturation before bottling in their trademark 50cl bottles at its natural cask strength of 52%. Blair Athol & Oloroso is a winning combination, this should be splendid stuff.
