This North Port Brechin was distilled in 1981 and aged for 36 years in refill sherry butt #1708 before being bottled in 2018 with a yield of 537 bottles at its impressive full cask strength of 57.2%.
Like the rest of the Signatory 30th Anniversary bottlings, this 1981 North port Brechin 36-year-old is presented in a black lacquered box with two Signatory Vintage branded Glencairn glasses.

Official Tasting Notes Colour: Intense golden yellow. Nose: The initial nose is medicinal and herbaceous with hints of plum. Allowed to breathe it becomes malty and spicy Palate: Sage and honeysuckle with earthy saffron notes and the finish is full of apricot and pineapple.
