It's great to see the revival of Old Perth, a lost whisky brand, under the capable stewardship of Morrison Distillers, the family who formerly owned Bowmore in the Islay distillery's glory days.

Old Perth Sherry Cask Blended Malt does what it says on the tin, with a marriage of single malts from different distilleries matured in sherry casks and bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration. It's an old-fashioned way of bottling whisky, and it should be a recipe for success - we think it's high time this sort of thing caught on again.
