Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Distillery Bottling 70cl / 43%
An old official bottling of Bowmore 21-year-old Islay single malt whisky, released at some point around the turn of the millennium in the classic old style bottle and cream label.
These old Bowmore 21-year-olds with the cream stripe on the capsule were distilled around the end of the 1970s, though some later editions also included some of the ill-fated early 1980s lavender-esque distillate. All these bottlings have a strong sherry influence and pack remarkable flavour intensity into their 43% strength. There is some batch variation with these bottles, with the early versions absolutely exemplary old school sherried Bowmore, while some of the later ones are a bit perfumey.
The product price on margin items include VAT which must not be shown separately or reclaimed as input tax. Input tax has not been and will not be claimed in respect of the margin goods sold.
