New Glenallachie 18-Year-Old and 30-Year-Old Coming Soon!
*SOLD OUT 09/06/21* More good news for Glenallachie fans - even after the abundance of single casks and the recent wine cask finish series, the distillery’s hectic release schedule continues! We’re delighted to announce that Glenallachie’s latest 18-year-old and the long-awaited new 30-year-old single malt from this reborn Speyside star are now nearly upon us, and should be on our shelves very soon. Ardnamurchan AD/04.21:03 & AD/04:21 Paul Launois Announcement
Exciting news, the new Ardnamurchan is about to arrive, and this time there’s two of them! AD/04.21:03 and AD/04:21 Paul Launois are the latest releases from Adelphi Distillers’ Ardnamurchan distillery in the western Highlands. Ardnamurchan AD/04.21:03 follows the formula of the smash hit previous general releases, with a 50/50 mix of the distillery’s peated and unpeated spirits matured in a mix of 65% ex-bourbon and 35% ex-sherry casks and bottled at 46.8%. Ardnamurchan AD/04:21 Paul Launois, meanwhile, is rather different - it’s the distillery’s first truly limited-release batch of single malt, and it’s a wine finish! Paul Launois is an...
White Heather 21-Year-Old Coming Soon!
Something very special today - we’re delighted to announce the imminent arrival of the new relaunch of one of Scotland’s most famous and well-loved historic blends: White Heather! Billy Walker, owner and Master Distiller at Glenallachie distillery, began his career in the whisky industry in 1971 as a blender, so the resurrection of the heritage White Heather brand is a source of great pride for him. White Heather originally appeared in the 1950s and Aberlour’s splendid single malt whisky was the keystone malt whisky in the glory years. The original White Heather cube bottles, particularly the aged and higher-strength versions, are...
Foursquare Redoutable Coming Soon!
We've been quietly ramping up our Rum section on the site with some terrific new bottlings recently. That’s set to continue with the imminent arrival of Foursquare Redoutable! Foursquare is a technology-driven distillery with a modern ethos, built on an old sugar plantation in the south of Barbados in 1996 by the Seale family. Owner and master distiller Richard Seale has challenged the traditional rum-making orthodoxy with his adoption of different cask types for maturation and a rejection of the use of added sweeteners and colourings. This philosophy and commitment to quality has seen Foursquare win a slew of international...
Dalmunach Octave Duncan Taylor Announcement
We’re delighted to announce that we’ll shortly be stocking our first ever Dalmunach on Whisky-Online! Dalmunach Octave 2016 4-year-old is an independent bottling by Duncan Taylor from Chivas Brothers’ Dalmunach distillery, built on the site of the old Imperial distillery in Speyside. Dalmunach was commissioned in 2014 and is a large and beautifully-designed distillery with the capability of producing a whopping 10 million litres of spirit a year from four pairs of very large stills. By contrast, the Dalmunach Octave bottlings from Duncan Taylor are exceptionally small scale, being finished in tiny Octave casks holding just 60-70 litres. Octaves, as...
