Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 55.8%
A fine cask strength bottling from G & M with the lovely toasted malt and fruit flavours that Bladnoch is well known for. A gem of a Lowland malt...
Batch 19/006 is a 1988 Bladnoch bottled in 2019 by G&M for their new and improved Connoisseur's Choice range. G&M have also spiced things up and bottled this one at a natural strength instead of the usual 46%. It was matured for 130 years in a refill American hogshead that yielded a mere 155 bottles.
The Connoisseurs Choice series is an iconic series that started in 1968. To date, around 100 distilleries have been featured as part of the range, with over 2,000 individual bottlings. Each label on each bottle states all the information about the whisky inside such as cask type, strength, region, vintage and tasting notes.
