Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled by: Gordon & MacPhail 70cl / 51.9%
Just what we like, a cask strength G & M bottling from Benriach. Benriach ages very well and at 32 years old this is a quality dram...
Batch 19/005 is a 1987 Benriach bottled in 2019 by G&M for their new and improved Connoisseur's Choice range. G&M have also spiced things up and bottled this one at a natural strength instead of the usual 46%. It was matured for 32 years in a refill sherry hogshead that yielded just 213 bottles.
The Connoisseurs Choice series is an iconic series that started in 1968. To date, around 100 distilleries have been featured as part of the range, with over 2,000 individual bottlings. Each label on each bottle states all the information about the whisky inside such as cask type, strength, region, vintage and tasting notes.
