1 bottle Rosebank 34 Year Old. Bottled 1970s by George Strachan Ltd. No box. 26 2/3 fl ozs. 88 proof. Level top shoulder. Good condition. Stopper cork with plastic shrink wrap seal. Please note seal is brittle and partially split but still intact.
A very rare and hard to find 34-year-old Rosebank bottled by family grocers George Strachan. This was bottled during the early 1970s and therefore will contain whisky distilled in the early 1940s or possibly earlier. To find whiskies distilled during the war is incredible, and more so when it comes from a distillery such as Rosebank. A true rarity that hardly ever turns up in auction. Notice how it is described as a Highland Malt and not a Lowland.
Although a condition report is normally included in the lot description, we would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids.
If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please use the link "ask a question" to make specific enquiries or to receive a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen and described.
Please note: due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
If you have any questions regarding this item, please send us a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
