one bottle of macallan linley edition, this fourth edition of the macallan lalique series is a sixty year-old single malt in a bespoke lalique crystal decanter. this version is a special edition packaged in a fabulous inlaid lacquered box constructed by the queen's nephew and royal furniture-maker viscount linley and is the first time one has ever come up for auction. the casks selected for this sixty year old were from the 1950s and bottled at a remarkable 53.3%. its believed unofficially 20 of these special linley releases were commissioned. the case holds four branded macallan crystal glasses adorned with the linley name to the base of each glass. the cabinet draw which hold the stopper is inlayed with a solid sliver plaque. this lots has all the original packaging in excellent condtion. 70cl / 53.2%
