Colour: West Coast Sunset
Body: Medium weight with the viscosity of the spirit holding firm to the side of the glass
Aroma: Caramel and vanilla extract mix with julip, heather-honey and delicious sweet oak, with more time it evolves slowly bringing fresh mint, dried hay, custard and the zest of ripe manadrin.
Palate: The palate is a toffee-lover's paradise, with delicious chewy notes backed by cream and dark fudge, further back fruitier characters appear, apple, pear and peach, followed by toasted pine nuts and homemade butter shortbread.
Finish: Amazingly clean and fresh for it's age, a true testament to the distillery. If you want something that offers al the complexity of an older dram but still retaining the frehness of youth, then this is it.
