Blended Scotch Whisky
A wonderful bottle from the 1940s with a spring cap (nail breaker) seal. The level is excellent which suggests the whisky will be in tip tip condition. At this price it is well worth opening and drinking. This is a style of whisky long extinct in this country. From an era when the malt content in most blends was close to 60 percent.

Part of a 'clan' series of collectable tins that Glenfiddich did back in the mid 1990s. The whisky inside was a more distillate driven affair at the time, lots of white fruits, floral, notes, butter, grass, green apples and some dusty mineral notes to boot. Quite different from the current bottlings.
