A single sherry hogshead of Laphroaig 1989 matured for 20 years, bottled at 50% by Douglas Laing for their Old Malt Cask range. 70cl / 50% Vol
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Powerfully peated with distinct dark fruit -definitely tarred.
Palate: Nutty, mouthcoatingly round /sweetly fruited and phenolic.
Finish: Subtly Islay in style, cindery with a long iodine character.
