Colour: Chesnut Gold
Body: Concentrated and muscular up front, but this is no bruiser. elegant cream, sweet-pea and honeysuckle notes appear. This whisky is an enigma that has stood the test of time.
Aroma: Fino sherry, nougat and sweet oak dominat the nose, with honey and subtle floral notes to follow, as the spirit continues to open out it reveals stewed banana, sticky barbecued pineapple and sweet scottish tablet
Palate: Toasted oak and chewy toffee backed by creamy caramel on the mid palate. There's a rich fruit cake and suggestion of gingerbread. As it slides over the palate the dram bursts into life again, with an orchetra of chocolate truffle and persiting minty chewiness.
Fiish: Incredibly long and comples, with the flavours singing all the way to the horizon and awesome experience that deserves time to savour.
