Douglas Laing

World-renowned Glasgow-based Douglas Laing & Co independent bottlers and blenders.

The company was first established in 1948 by the father of Fred and Stewart Laing.

Fred and Stewart have now been in charge for over 25 years and upheld the tradition their farther laid down back in 1948.

They have not just sat on their fathers laurels but have successfully expanded the Douglas Laing Range into the world market, using some of the vast stocks of Single Malt Whisky built up over the last 50 years..

PROBABLY SPEYSIDE’S FINEST 43 YEAR OLD

Nose : Orange pith, spice, cedar-wood plus late leaf smoke.

Palate: Carries a big peppery spice hit + a mulled wine style.

Finish: Soft and mellow with dried fruit/jam + gingerbread. (Fred)
