These old Dalmore 12yo bottlings from the 1980s are terrific drams. Wonderfully clean and rich sherry with succulent and heavy highland sinew underneath. They are earthy, leafy, oily, gently smoky and fresh with surprising length and complexity for standard bottlings. They really knew what they were doing with the cask selection back then.
