A dark and unctuous 36yo belter of a Bunnahabhain from the ever dependable Douglas Laing. Thick notes of dark fruits and luscious sherry balance out with the underlying distillery character really beautifully with a wonderful resinous coastal character coming through in the finish. Another brilliant old sherried Bunnahabhain.

This Bunnahabhain, bottled by Douglas Laing for their Old & Rare Platinum Selection, was distilled in 1974 and matured for 36 years in a Sherry Butt. It was bottled in November 2010 at 58.0% vol with a yield of only 206 bottles.
