A 17yo 1978 Benrinnes bottled by G&M for their Centenary Reserve range in 1995. This is a meaty, sinewy and rich, old style sherried Speysider. Benrinnes is one of the few distilleries to retain the use of worm tubs instead of condensers and it really shows in this fabulous, oily dram.
