The Caperdonich Distillery was built in 1898 and was closed down in 1902 where it fell silent for 65 years.
Due to decreasing demand and the effect of the two World Wars most of its equipment was moved across the road to Glen Grant for use as spares. It re-opened under the ownership of "The Glenlivet and Glen Grant Distilleries Ltd".
As a single malt, Caperdonich is available only in independent bottlings.
